Preparing for Transformers 2 with Hulu
I’ll admit it: I liked Transformers. Don’t judge me. Giant fighting robots are a guilty pleasure that nerds across the globe share. Unfortunately, I was a little too young to remember the original cartoon series, so my understanding of the characters still leaves something to be desired. Sure, I could just click over to Wikipedia, but I’ve played that game before and I don’t to get sucked into reading about the “Unicron Trilogy” until 3:00AM.
As a child of the Internet age, I tend to like information delivered to me in small easily digested chunks. So, when I found this three minute clip at Hulu explaining the history of Transformers, I knew I had to share it. Despite the narrator’s inflection-less delivery, the piece nicely shows how Transformers, well, transformed from simple Japanese toys into a multi-billion dollar commercial property. Enjoy.
